What is that on Cosma's head? It is a little box with a piece of Scripture that says, "What you say I AM is what you are." |
Violations of the Eight Amendment, Cruel and Unusual Punishment doesn't count and our country is being ruled by a bipartisan establishment favoring secret policies enabling pervasive surveillance, arbitrary detention, and even outright assassination—all available to the government without judicial checks and balances so that no one can accurately describe what's left of freedom.
U.S. Postal Service Logging All Mail for Law Enforcement
A mail cover is a surveillance tool used by the Postal Service to monitor the mail of a person suspected of criminal activity by recording the information on the outside of all letters and packages delivered to a home or business.
Law enforcement officials say, "it’s an important investigative tool", but the real purpose is to harass and provoke U.S. citizens into pitting one neighbor against the other. Study the Holocaust and you will understand how the United States government is entering the first stages: The very same tactics of abuse.
While the government believes it's distracting or preventing terrorism, G-d laughs in their faces when He surprises them with His tools of terrorism in a place least expectant. Privacy advocates say the practice is ripe for abuse because it lacks judicial oversight and is shrouded in secrecy. So, as the U.S. government destroys it's citizens with their tactics of invasion, harassment, and provoked warfare, I wait until G-d gives us our day in court for human rights violations, torture, and premediated murder.
Mail surveillance systems, like phone surveillance systems, email surveillance systems and street surveillance systems, typically don't prevent people from committing bad acts. They simply give the NSA, FBI and KGB better ways to figure out who committed those bad acts. Put differently, they generally don't provide the populace with great security. Instead, they provide the government with great dossiers.
Leslie James Pickering, the owner of a bookstore in Buffalo, was targeted by a tracking program from the United States Postal Service.
A handwritten card, apparently delivered by mistake, with instructions for postal workers to pay special attention to the letters and packages sent to his home.
One person steps forward to disclose their stories. Then, another. And, another. Then, maybe some day, when Americans wake up they will know what the U.S. government is doing to their own citizens. Waiting and watching to find out what they are going to do with a Former Top Ranking General Who Allegedly Leaked Secrets to the Press because, "It's the right thing to do."
